08:11 pm - And the Saga Continues.
So I'm still looking for work out here in Manhattan KS, also known as "What the fuck am I doing living here?!" Kansas, which is driving me bat-shit since I've been looking for two weeks solid, must have put in two or three applications to every place in town and I've yet to hear back from anyone about anything... Fuck. So I'm really going to have to live off my commissions, badges and auctioned off artwork in order to pay rent and bills until things change.
This may prove to be a task considering I opened my mouth without thinking last night and got myself temporarily banned on Fur Affinity. Before you guys flip out and go after any administrators there, I was in the wrong, I admitted to doing so and even reported myself for the stupidity of commenting where I shouldn't have. So I accept my punishment and will probably be off of Fur Affinity for the next two to four days considering I have no idea how long this temporary ban is since the admin who slapped me with the ban hammer didnt divulge in how long 'Temporary' was.
So I'm currently finishing up my remaining few commissions and getting some basic pose work sketches done so that I can take on some quick commissions once I'm able to access Fur Affinity again to open for them. I'm thinking of doing only FIVE slots at a time to keep from getting overrun with orders, also thinking of doing a special deal for $50 - $60 of a full color badge and a 14x11 detailed ink pinup, the only catch there... scanning the 14x11 will be a bitch in a normal sized scanner. >!< Oh well, gotta make due with what I've got available.
Also I'm currently helping Skittle take care of her pet hairless rat Lily since she has recently gotten an infection in her left eye and needs medications every hour on the hour. So yeah, I've also had like no sleep, but I'm being very productive with work and Lily has been making a speedy recovery.
On a rather odd note however, an ex-boyfriend of mine and I started just randomly talking to each other a few nights back and after a long drawn out conversation and taking cheap shots out of spite at one another, we both admitted our faults, I swallowed my pride and apologized for the past. Somehow through all of that, he and I are close to becoming friends again, not a full 100% sure on what to think of that... I'm happy the drama there is over, but still not quite sure where to go from there at the moment.

Awake... sort of.Sep. 14th, 2009
03:33 am - It liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiives!! Umm... sort of.
Yeah, not dead yet, I'm like a cockroach... or herpies... either way I'm never going away. sooo... Here's an update on things.
Yeah... I had to walk away from my current job after getting an immediate shift swap from my former schedule of 8:45 am to 7:45 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday to the only schedule that would even remotely help me keep my job which was 10:00 pm until 7:00 am, Monday through Friday.
Despite this actually being a schedule that would assist in me keeping my job, I would not be able to actually make it on time since my roommate gets off work and gets home within a few minutes of me having t0o get in to work... So my choices were the following
A) Work the next two or three days, show up late and then get walked out for deviations on my record for coming in late despite having talked to our HR department and be unable to work there again.
B) Walk out/quit on the spot and be able to apply again in three months again, more than likely get the job since I now have seven months of experience in the field and pray I find a part time job as well as open commissions/auction off more art in order to keep some cash flow until then.
Needless to say I chose 'B' since I'll be able to get my job back, until then though things are going to be incredibly tight. So in the near future I'm going to be opening up some commissions in order to keep a steady flow of cash as well as auction off more older and possibly some newer art as well.
Commissions will mostly be one character pin-up portraits, inks will most likely be $25.00 and colored will be $35.00, badges will also open up for the standard $20.00. just a heads up, I'll be opening up a series of five slots at a time once I get my Pay-pal set up when I get my check this Friday. Another journal will be posted later on with more information... so yeah...
Two weeks later....
Well the job search continues as I pump out my remaining commissions... though my mind has been adrift a lot lately as I have been trying to fend of lingering depression, so I'm bout to be a bit out of it for a while. Also, I have been having pretty intense bouts of insomnia, a few friends here whom I talk to all night for the past week or so can vouch for that, which has been effecting my mental status as well... but in an oddly productive way for my art.
I've currently finished all but three of my due commissions, which means I'll be opening up for more soon, which brings me to more important issues. Since I'm still currently out of work, this is my main source of income for the time being, so I'm going to be posting more older art up for auction on furbuy later on in the upcoming week, as well as taking commissions for badges and pin ups, but I might take on a few larger ink commissions in measurements of 11 x 14 and 11 x 17 along with others.
I have a few bills piling up lately and I recently got a shut off notice in the mail for the electricity... I have two roommates, one is working and is paying their part as much as they can due to car payments and insurance as well, we are getting pretty low on food so we are trying to scrape up more money. My friend who is staying with us temporarily is looking for work... but could seriously be trying harder instead of just sitting around and playing World of Warcraft.. Had one roommate do that already... it drove me bat-shit. To said friend, you have been close to me for nearly ten years and I care a lot about you, but start looking more seriously, chip in on bills or sadly there will be consequences.
So after putting everything into perspective, I've realized that if I want to keep my place, I need to get a job stat as well as take on more commissions ASAP to get money moving into the household, otherwise I will have to sign the lease over to my roommate with my landlord's permission, move the electricity over to his name, sell off anything I have of value, pack up my remaining shit and start couch-hopping again for I don't know how long... As much as I do need to get out once in a while... that is not an alternative I'd want.
I have a plan of action, I am doing what needs to be done step by step, if things don't fall into order despite my efforts in finding a job since that is the main problem right now... I honestly do not know what I'm going to do.
-Takes a few deep yet shaky breaths and slowly moves to fight his way forward-
Two hours later...
-EDIT-
You say you miss how I used to be, happy, compassionate, cheerful and giving... you don't like what I've become.. well surprise fucker, neither do I. I miss being the bubbly little spaz that made everyone laugh, I miss showing kindness.. I miss my friends and how things were. Things change, people break... I've been broken and it takes time to fucking fix that.
You want me to change back, the feeling is very mutual, but changing back will take more than just saying and wanting it, I need some damned help. What I don't need is to be lied to, used, stolen from, manipulated, smeared and back-stabbed.
If you want me back, as much as I do... You are going to have to seriously talk to me and help me regain what has been lost.
More to come on here eventually and on my FurAffinity journal if you are keeping an eye on me there.

06:06 am - Life is a beach... O.o
I'm just curious about something...
Isn't that how that old saying goes? "Life is a beach..." Well tell me something, if life really is a beach that would explain why so many people act like they have sand buried in the crack of their asses? Or how about the fact that they get crabs every now and then... That would explain it right? o.o

THE MASTERCARD WEDDING
You got to love this guy... This is a true story about a recent wedding that took place at Clemson University. It was in the local newspaper and even Jay Leno mentioned it. It was a huge wedding with about 300 guests. After the wedding, at the reception, the groom got up on stage with a microphone to talk to the crowd. He said he wanted to thank everyone for coming, many from long distances, to support them at their wedding.
He especially wanted to thank the bride's and his family and to thank his new father-in-law for providing such a lavish reception. As a token of his deep appreciation he said he wanted to give everyone a special gift just from him. So taped to the bottom of everyone's chair, including the wedding party was an envelope. He said this was his gift to everyone, and asked them to open their envelope. Inside each manila envelope was an 8x10 glossy of his bride having sex with the best man.
The groom had gotten suspicious of them weeks earlier and had hired a private detective to tail them. After just standing there, just watching the guests' reactions for a couple of minutes, he turned to the best man and said, "Fuck you!" Then he turned to his bride and said, "Fuck you!" Then he turned to the dumbfounded crowd and said, "I'm outta here." He had the marriage annulled first thing in the morning. While most people would have canceled the wedding immediately after finding out about the affair, this guy goes through with the charade, as if nothing were wrong.
His revenge--making the bride's parents pay over $32,000 for a 300 guest wedding and reception, and best of all, trashing the bride's and best man's reputations in front of 300 friends and family members. This guy has balls the size of church bells. Do you think we might get a MasterCard "priceless" commercial out of this?
~Elegant wedding reception for 300 family members and friends: $32,000.
~Wedding photographs commemorating the Occasion: $3,000.
~Deluxe two week honeymoon accommodations in Maui: $8,500.
~The look on everyone's face when they see the 8x10 glossy of the bride humping the best man: Priceless.
There are some things money can't buy, for everything else there's MASTERCARD! "Life isn't like a bowl of cherries or peaches, it's more like a jar of Jalapenos--what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow......"
This in my opinion is by far, the absolute best form of revenge possible. Since he was the one cheated on, he isn't going to get the blame from the bride's parents, though they can blame him for ruining the wedding, but thanks to his stroke of pure spiteful brilliance on how he exposed the two fuck buddies, all of the focus is going to eb on the bride and best man. Her parents are obviously infurated and humiliated, not to mention broke as shit since they just dished out a years worth of salary on a botched wedding since the bride couldnt wait until the wedding night.
Just goes to show you that if you fuck up, the person you fucked with can fuck you over a hundred times as badly. =)

Goofy12:36 am - Back from the randomness that is my life.
I'm here yet again, low and behold with a part time job... ZOMG!! As for the next few weeks to possibly next few months I'm going to be helping my mini-me clone and one of the best friends evah, Shawn, I <3 ya grrrrl :D, clean/renovate her/her mother's house here in Topeka. Shawn is awesome to hang out with cause we are on the same wave length, we have been finishing eachother's sentances and really freaking Channing out at times. XD I love freaking people out.
I had a good time today hanging out/working with Shawn, First she and I straightened up a bit, chased the dogs around that were all over the house, did some laundry and then got lunch, it was a fairly lazy day today untill about noon when I got my skunky arse working on the computer room, finishing it up and making it look nice again. It wasn't really that hard to do other than lifting boxes of stuffs and moving it all the way across their house into the garage... that tired me out a little bit. But hey, work is work, and fun as hell when ya got an awesome person ta work with. :D
After Going crazy with that and getting praised by her mother for how nice it looked, I started a new load of laundry and we went about pondering what to get for dinner, though while waiting for this to be decided, we watched the local eye-candy, (Two other rather hot guys who work from time to time, but really dont have much of a brain due to all the pot they smoke XP) Make water bottles explode using dry ice. It was really awesome watching the bottles desintegrate in a puff of fog. =3
Afterwards, Shawn, Channing and myself went to this awesome mongolian place to eat, we stuffed ourselves with calamari, scallops and other fun stuffs that were cooked on a wok there, great food and I'm definately going to have to eat there again. Got complimented on my Mountain Dew, "Mount and Do Me" shirt twice, Thanks again to Raiden for getting it for me while in San Fransisco last year, Love ya's woofie~! ^_^ afterwards we hung out at Shawn's place, I got teased a bit, but thats nothing new considering I always get teased some way or another. =b
All in all it was an awesome day, got me a part time job working for a glompable good friend of 1337ness, and got to hang out with great friends while earning moneh, all thats left to do is spend some quality time with the puppy, call back Office Depot about my second interview, (Again 9-9;) and wait for some of my stuff that Garry shipped up a few days back to arrive while working on art stuff. Thank you again Garry for being kind enough to hold my stuff for me as well as send some of it up, it means alot to me~ =3 Things are going so great that if this is a dream, I honestly hope I wont ever wake up. ^_^
